Dear Parent, My name is Marwa Barham and I am the Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies Head of Department. I am also currently teaching Arabic in Grade 3. I am very proud to be part of the CPS family, to support and help our students to apply Arabic in their daily lives, and give them the chance to be more confident and self reliant. I studied in AL Hashemite University in Jordan. I have nine years’ experience as a teacher and four years’ experience as a coordinator in the UAE. I hope it will be a year filled with pleasure and success for our dear students.

I consider myself fortunate to be a part of the Crown Family. With 19 years of teaching experience, of which 9 years have been in the UAE, I know how important it is to lay the foundation of an outstanding education. I am a native English speaker from South Africa, with a B.Ed (Hons) degree in Inclusive Education. I am enthusiastic and results driven in all that I do. I believe every learner is unique and is entitled to an education that meets their needs as an individual so that they can become the best version of themselves for the future. I pride myself on creating an inclusive learning environment built on a foundation of respect, resilience and high personal expectations. Finally, I believe a teacher lives to serve. A teacher is dedicated to learning, to his or her discipline, to his or her students, and to making the future the best possible place for all of us to live. These are the challenges I accepted when I chose to be a teacher. I remain committed to them.

I completed an Educational degree in the year 2011 at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. I have been working as a qualified teacher for 10 years with a diverse experience and a strong track record of fostering a child-centred curriculum and student creativity. I greatly enjoy the challenges that teaching brings and particularly love teaching my degree specialism, English. I endeavour to foster a passion of both literature and language through creative practise that incorporates a range of different pedagogies, aiming to inspire a love of learning. Over the years, I have developed my skill set to produce a positive and productive learning environment. I value and believe in a holistic model of teaching. I am proud to be an educator who supports my students to attain academic excellence, whilst nurturing them pastorally. A meaningful learning environment enables students to develop independence and to become motivated, autonomous learners; the skills, which I believe deliver educational success and lay the foundation for a fulfilling adult life. Dear Parents, My name is Janani Rao Pabbaraju, a young and passionate Maths teacher and Head of the Maths Department at Crown Private School. I have completed my Masters of Science in Engineering and further pursued a Diploma in Teaching and Learning from Cambridge University. I have 5 years teaching experience with the Cambridge Curriculum. I have worked in countries such as India and Indonesia with a Singapore approach to Maths. I love teaching Maths and I want my students to explore and learn Maths through active learning that links Maths to the real world.

Dear parents, My name is Vinith Pillai and I am excited to be the Head of Science at Crown Private school. This will be my third year at CPS. I strongly believe that developmental stages of children are the most important and we redesign the curriculum to match the needs of our students. Investigative learning and Experiential learning are the tools we strongly focus on. We at Crown believe that Science cannot happen within the boundaries of the classroom so we go beyond the normal to ensure our students get enhanced learning options. My qualifications and background include a Masters in Biotechnology from University of Ulster, UK. This is my 12th year teaching the Cambridge curriculum and it's been an exciting journey. My name is Dhanya Ravindran and I have had the pleasure of being part of Crown Private School since the very beginning. It has been a pleasure to see our family expand and grow over the last five years. I have a post graduate degree in computer application (MCA) and I have 10 years of experience in education having taught various age groups at college and school level. I believe in emphasizing the holistic approach in teaching and my aim is to inspire young minds to reach their individual potential by providing a fun filled technical learning environment. It has been a wonderful experience to be in the UAE with people from different parts of the world and culture.

Hello students and families! Welcome to KG2! My name is Miss Vicky and I am very excited to have this opportunity to be your teacher this school year. I have been a teacher for the last 16 years and this is a dream come true. I am looking forward to getting to know you, but first here is a little more about me! I am from South Africa, but moved to the UAE in 2019 and I currently live in Ajman. Besides teaching, I enjoy traveling, painting and cooking. I have three children. They are all boys and they are grown up. I am eager to work with you, not only to teach academic skills but also life -long skills which are essential part of life. I have an open door policy and will uphold the highest levels of communication to ensure all stakeholders are aware of school policy as well as sharing examples of outstanding work to encourage my students.

My name is Minal and I come from the beautiful city of Mumbai in India. This will be my 5th year at Crown Private School and my 11th year teaching in the UAE. ‘Every Year I love it more!’. Teaching is my dream job and I feel honoured to be in a position to be able to help your children learn and develop to their full potential. I have completed my Masters’ degree in Pediatric Nursing from India and have earned the Early Years Foundation Stage (British Curriculum) Level 3 teaching qualification in Dubai. My family is my strength and the joy of my life is my 7-year-old daughter Manavi. I am energetic and passionate about what I do and Early Years Education ‘is my passion’. I truly believe that every child is unique and it is important to keep them unique. I also believe children learn best through play and Early Years Education is not just a way to ‘get children to read and write’ but to ‘get them ready for life’. I genuinely love children and believe parents are the first enduring educators. I have always worked in partnership with parents and have found communication, trust and the sharing of information between parents and teacher a key aspect in ensuring the development and progress of the children in my care. Dear Parents, My name is Grace Nibah and I am from Cameroon. I am thrilled to be your child's KG 1 homeroom teacher for this school year. I look forward to a fun filled year full of learning, adventures and helping your child grow to reach their full potential. I have completed my Masters in Education (Teaching and Learning) here in the UAE. After completing my Bachelors degree, I earned a Professional graduate certificate in teaching and learning (PGCTL); Award for Teacher Training and Higher Education (ATHE) UK level 6; the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) CACHE Level 3 and a total of 8 years of teaching experience in UAE. I believe that every child is unique and in order to meet their individual needs, I create a rich learning environment with a variety of hands-on activities, as well as create opportunities that will ignite children’s curiosity and build their confidence to express themselves. I also use the 4E's strategy: Engage, Explore, Express and Evaluate to ensure that children make significant progress. Another important area that I lay emphasis on is the child’s social and emotional development. Finally, I create a welcoming and safe learning environment where children feel loved and safe.

My name is Imrana Faheem and I have been working in Crown Private School for the last three years as a teaching assistant in KG1. I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Bachelor of Education degree. I have taught Maths and |Science in various capacities and grade levels in Pakistan before joining CPS. I love teaching, possess excellent organizational skills and I can connect easily with students to help them achieve their learning goals.

Dear Parents, My name is Amrin Socatali and I am from Leicester in the United Kingdom. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Education degree from De Montfort University in Leicester, UK. This is my second year at Crown Private School teaching English to students in Grades 5-8. I have over five years of experience teaching English to both lower and higher grades. Teaching English is my passion and as your child's teacher it is my role to nurture and encourage a love of lifelong learning in my students. I strongly believe that students learn best when they feel welcomed, safe and comfortable in a positive environment which keeps them engaged at all times. Dear parents: My name is Youssra Khalil and it is a pleasure to be your child's Grade 4 homeroom teacher for the school year. I am from Alexandria Egypt and completed my studies in Alexandria University. I have a bachelor degree in education in addition to different certificates in teaching children and childhood development for the foundation phase. I have worked as a Science teacher for primary and elementary students in the UAE for the last 14 years. As a Science teacher I believe that Science is best taught through active learning as students learn by doing. Therefore, Science experiments are a great way to let students learn how things work. I am from Palestine but I was born and studied in UAE. I have a degree in English Language and Translation. I have worked in different schools in UAE. Dear Parents, My name is Afrah Qasim and I am a qualified teacher of Social Studies from Iraq. I graduated from Baghdad University, Department of History, in 1986 and have taught History, Geography and national education in Iraq for 10 years, in Malaysia for two years and in the United Arab Emirates for 12 years. In recent years, I have added to my experience by incorporating the latest technology and innovative teaching strategies into my teaching style.

Dear Parents, My name is Tenah M. and I am so pleased and excited to be the school psychologist at Crown Private School. This is my third year in the school and I am looking forward to supporting your child's social, emotional and psychological wellbeing and development. I have an MSc and Mphil in Psychology.I have more than six years’ experience In Dubai and India as a Student Counselor/Psychologist. Dear Parents, My name is Grace Barbara Scott and I consider it an honour to have been a teacher at the Crown Private School since August 2018. I am from India and have completed my BA in English after which I also achieved a Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education. With a total of 15 years of teaching experience I can without a second thought say that I love my job and the students that I have taught. When I see my students do well it gives me a sense of pride and happiness. I have been teaching in the UAE since 2012 with a number of British Schools including the Oxford School in Dubai and the Bloomington Academy in Ajman.
