Shaun Robison

(School Advisory Board)

Shaun Robison is an entrepreneurial, senior education leader who has delivered a range of projects in the GCC education sector.

Shaun has worked with UK curriculum schools extensively and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Newcastle University in the UK where he previously worked as Lead Practitioner.

In the 16 years that Shaun has worked in the UAE, he has worked extensively across the country, working with the government on various initiatives, and with principals, teachers, students and parents.

Shaun holds a PhD in Education from Newcastle University and has published several research papers on the GCC education sector. Shaun holds a PhD in Education and is also a Governor for IDEA Early Learning Center and is a regular contributor to the Business Breakfast Show on Dubai Eye Radio, the prime-time slot in the mornings.

Trish Gregory

(Primary Specialist – School Advisory Board)

Trish Gregory is an experienced teacher educator, proficient in early childhood and elementary education with an insightful understanding of children’s well-being and development.

Known for skillful creativity with an inspirational and motivational approach to education leadership and school improvement. She is able to effectively communicate with authorities, faculty, parents, and children and lead them on the path to development and mastery.

A highly organized, efficient, dependable, flexible, and responsive professional.

A collaborative team player that thrives on challenges and working under pressure, self-motivated to continue learning and develop further subject knowledge.

Trish has 12+ years’ experience of school inspection and improvement planning with schools in the MENA region and is a certified school inspector.

Trish holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Southampton, UK, and is also an accredited Lead Practitioner with the University of Warwick.

Rachel Issa

(Secondary Specialist – School Advisory Board)

Rachel Issa is a senior educator and leader with significant experience in teaching, developing students, evaluating, designing curriculums, and setting standards and procedures in place. Rachael is Cambridge accredited English assessor and an International Baccalaureate certified teacher.

She has designed courses for O and A Level English Literature and Language, designed the College Board Advanced Placement in English, and been a Team Leader for the Advance Ed accreditation process.

Rachael holds a Master of Education from Murdoch University. She is also an avid ballet dancer.

Rachael has strong connections to global universities following 18 years as a university counsellor, enrolling over 3,000 students in universities around the world with universities in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Qatar, and the UAE.

 

Salam Atwi

(Arabic and Islamic Studies Specialist)

Salam is an experienced educational leader with a proven track record in academic quality control and school improvement. Currently serving as the Director of Academic Quality Assurance at a prestigious private school in the UAE, Salam excels in overseeing curriculum development and maintaining high academic standards.

Additionally, Salam is a Tribal-certified school inspector, bringing valuable expertise to BBD Education, where he evaluates and enhances educational practices to foster continuous improvement and high-quality learning environments.

With a strong commitment to educational excellence, Salam is dedicated to driving positive change and supporting schools in achieving their goals.
